Shenendoah Valley Children's Choir
Now in its twenty-sixth year, the Shenandoah Valley Children's Choir of Harrisonburg, Virginia, includes more than 170 youth in three music classes and three performing choirs under the leadership of artistic director Janet M. Hostetter. Founded by Julia J. White, SVCC continues to impress audiences worldwide with its high standards for musicianship training and artistic presentations. Performing choirs frequently collaborate with professional musicians and have presented at ACDA, OAKE, and VMEA conferences. The beauty and reputation of SVCC has afforded Concert Choir the hoor of performing for Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, President and Mrs. Clinton and former President Carter. Most recently, SVCC choristers have participated in music video projects both in the US and abroad.
Janet M.
